Remember the sqrt(x) in the denominator is equal to x^(-1/2) when you bring it up to the numerator. When you do that, you can distribute the x^(-1/2) so you get the integral from 2 to 9 of 10x^(1/2) + 7x^(-1/2). Then you just to the basic integration steps. Raise the old exponent by 1, and then divide the coefficient by the new exponent for each term. Then in the result, plug in 9, plug in 2, and then subtract the two numbers.
