Is 240 FPS good for an AEG Airsoft rifle?

AEG EAG whatever its called. Me and 2 of my friends are looking to buy electric airsoft rifles just to play for fun in not too big of areas like yeah. we arent trying to go competitive or anything, just to play against each other with. will 240 fps be good for that kind of play? i want to make sure it will reach them without the wind pushing the bbs very much or whatever
