Truth about iguanas growing as big as their surroundings?

NO!!! thats a MITH any reptile will NOT grow as big as their cage... my theory is that they grow to the size of their cage and DIE from the stress of being in such a small enclosure... but that may not be the case, thats only my theory, but no animal will just stop growing!!
