Yes. The last ten-thirty years of life are generally you relying heavily on others, or not having anything to do except waiting for death to come. Who want's to live like that? To me, the situation's a win-win. I get all that stuff, and I get to skip out on the part of life where you are incapable of doing things for yourself.
