Can anybody share their experence with family courts ? (uk)?

im a mother who tried very hard to get my sons father involved in his life he appeared a year later demanding 3 days aweek and dragging me through court (there was was violence in the relationship he admits to still taking drugs and drinking doesnt pay anything andhis family are as bad) i offered contact he refused said id give him sup access he refused id like to hear from all the decent hard working parents dads and moms whats been your experience and how did you get through it ?
