Drainage after tubes in ears?

my daughter had tubes put in about 2 weeks ago. last night she woke up screaming saying "ouchy, ouchy" and pointing to her ears. at first it was like a clear liquid but it has now turned into yellow with some blood. i cant get he into the dr in tell later today. Is this normal with tubes? Is there anything i can do besides motrin and Tylenol to help her feel better?
