What is wrong with starting a compound if everyone agrees to be there?

with the world going to hel# in a hand basket what is wrong with likeminded people joining togather for the greater good of the group. I thought of doing this myself and if i did i dang sure wouldnt want trouble staring busy bodys interfering and aticking there nose where it dont belong idont aprove of alot of the mormans point of veiws but you people say compound like oh my god its a prison!!! what do you call most boarding schools ? the people are in these things because they want to be there ( times out of ten they are free to leave.
