Am I doing the right thing?

Since all my past relationships have failed i decided to give up on dating and just stick to my education and job and do me! plus i feel so much better single i don't have to worry about all the things sucky things that sometimes relationships brings you but anyways straight to the point everyone is telling me that im dumb for not dating anymore and that i need a boyfriend that im such a loser for not having one are they right? i get mad when they tell me that because they are suppose to be my friends and besides they know what ive been through in my past relationships and i don't want to go through it again i want to wait a while before i date again and just stick to myself and family am i wrong for wanting to do me nd stay single???
