Price for 1994 DL Eagle Talon?

I don't know TOO much about cars, but I know enough. As for eagle talons, the base trim is DL, correct? If so, KBB prices them at around $3,000, or a bit more if it is in good condition and low miles. Someone is asking $3,500 for a base trim (again if base is DL), 1994 Eagle Talon with 40k miles. That's a bit overpriced isn't it? Private owned.
