What does he want from m?

see i know this guy from 3 years..we were first friends n then realised that we were relatives too...then i fell in love with him....but he didnt want a relationship....but we were still friends....untill the day he lied to me badly and a big fight happened between us 6 months back and i was totally hurt n started hating him. Now in these 6 months i got over him totally.....but he used to text m once in a while.... i used to reply rudely and taunt all the time....but he always replied nicely....which was little weird coz i expected him to get angry....which he never did....a week back was his bday.. and i decided not to wish him n show attitude...but to my bad luck i accidently met him that day...and he started talkin nicely n sweetly like we were good old friends n as if nothing ever happened between us....and i dint no how to react to it n whole of my attitude plan went flop.... [:(] now im totally confused abt his behaviour....why is he being nice to me ? just becoz we are relatives? huh...what do u guys think i should do ignore him or be good friends again ?
